Go Ahead, Bathe in Beer with Lucky Bear SoapApr 19, 2013 Comments (0)
Lucky Bear Soap is made with beer. Not just any beer though, it is made with Ninkasi Brewing's beer. Sounds awesome, right? Here's a short story about this soap to make it even greater:
Skyler and her three kids River, Sage and Trask found a newborn baby bull calf on the side of the road in Tillamook, OR. The calf fell out of a farmer's truck and was badly injured.
Skyler and her family brought the calf home to their ranch and brought him back to life. He wasn't suppose to last the night but he did. He then earned the name Lucky Bear.
Ninkasi provides beer for Skyler to make handcrafted organic soap. All of the proceeds go towards feeding and taking care of Lucky Bear as well as three other rescue dogs.
Today, Lucky Bear weighs almost 1,600 pounds and is very healthy and happy.
We sell Lucky Bear Soap (Total Dom, Tricerahops, Lady of Avalon and Sleigh'r) at the Ninkasi Tasting Room. If you are out of town, you can find Lucky Bear Soap here: www.etsy.com/shop/luckybearsoap.
