Sweet & Savory Oatis Salmon
As a Northwest favorite, salmon is a common pairing you'll see on our tables. This recipe pairs our savory, rich Oatis with fresh, grilled salmon for a delicious meal straight off the grill.
- 4 oz. Ninkasi Oatis Oatmeal Stout
- 2 fresh 1/2 lb. salmon planks
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. minced shallots
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat grill to high and rinse the fish in cool water,
dry, and massage all sides with olive oil.Place in foil or shallow pan and lightly salt and pepper
planks on all sides.
Lightly pat the top with a thin even layer of the brown sugar.Spritz with 4 oz. of Ninkasi Oatis
Oatmeal Stout and allow to foam. Sprinkle the top with minced shallots. Place onto grill. Cover and cook for 12-16 minutes or until done.
