Our core value runs through every element of our brand, to Perpetuate Better Living. Since 2011, Beer is Love has helped non-profits reach their goals through beer and auction donations. We love supporting communities and creating lasting relationships along the way. Near and far, we are determined to help as many non-profits who align with our core value as we can. Earlier this year, we were able to supply donations to Womenspace and Parenting Now!, two incredible local non-profits in our very own backyard in Eugene, Oregon.

Womenspace 5th Annual Black & White Gala

Tell us about your organization and the event.

Our mission is to prevent domestic violence in intimate partner relationships in Lane County and support survivors in claiming personal power. We offer a crisis line, safe house, advocacy, education, and other programs dedicated to ending intimate partner violence. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Gala is a chance for Womenspace supporters, donors, staff, and volunteers to get all dressed up for a cause. The event includes dinner and a chance to bid on fabulous auction items, from all-inclusive trips to a variety of items contributed by our generous donors.

How did the donation impact your event?

The donation of Ninkasi swag added to the amazing community support we received from our donors for this event.

Music is an integral part of our brewery. In that spirit, what would be the theme song for your organization?

Parenting Now! 2016 Gala and Auction

Tell us about your organization and the event.

Parenting Now! (Formerly Birth to Three) is an organization that provides parenting education to all members of our community. Our vision is to see that all children are raised by skilled and nurturing parents. The event is our annual auction that raises half of the individual dollars given every year to our organization. This year was oft described as the "best year ever," by many attendees. It was a joy to partner with folks like Ninkasi, a huge draw to our community minded audience.

How did the donation impact your event?

We made a nice bit of action on this silent auction package for the second year in a row now!

What does the Beer is Love Program mean to you?

It means that Ninkasi, no matter how big they get, still cares about this community and wants to make sure the families and people of Eugene are able to thrive.

Music is an integral part of our brewery. In that spirit, what would be the theme song for your organization?
