Believer Voting: How it Works and Who it HelpsJan 31, 2017 Comments (2)
Back by popular demand, Believer is back as a seasonal release until April 2017. Our double red ale combines roasted malts with just the right amount of hops, with 60 IBUs at 6.9%. Brewed for the first time in 2006, Believer represents our love for the community and our passion for craft beer. What better way to celebrate this beer than by giving back to organizations that are doing good for others. Our Beer is Love program offers support through our 5 strands of DNA: women, equality, recreation, the environment, and arts and music.
We chose three national non-profits that aligned with our Beer is Love DNA: Women Who Code, Conscious Alliance, and Team River Runner. A portion of all Believer sales will go towards these organizations, but there’s a catch. Read on.
$1 per case and $7 per keg of Believer sold will go into a pot, and each nonprofit will be placed into a voting system. There is no purchase necessary and anyone 21 or over can vote. Voting polls will close April 30, 2017 at 11:59pm PST. The nonprofit that receives the most votes will win 50% of all Believer sales, 2nd place will receive 30%, and 3rd place will receive 20%. The pot will cap at $50,000.
