The Believer Campaign: We're Halfway There!

Mar 10, 2017 Comments (0)  | Tags: Beer is Love The Believer Campaign: Were Halfway There!

Time really does fly when you're having fun; the Believer Campaign is already halfway over! Our beloved double red ale has made a stellar comeback and we are thrilled to be working with such incredible organizations during this campaign. The votes (and the beer) has been flowing and we want to keep the momentum going for the remaining two months of this campaign. Let's recap on the nitty gritty details.

$1 per case and $7 per keg of Believer sold will go into a pot, and each nonprofit will be placed into a voting system. There is no purchase necessary and anyone 21 or over can vote. Voting polls will close April 30, 2017 at 11:59pm PST. The nonprofit that receives the most votes will win 50% of all Believer sales, 2nd place will receive 30%, and 3rd place will receive 20%. The pot will cap at $50,000.

Team River Runner holds 43% of the vote so far, with Women Who Code taking 2nd place with 32%, and Conscious Alliance claiming 3rd place with 25% of the votes. We already have more than 1,300 votes, keep 'em coming - tell your friends and family, your coworkers, your mailman! The sky is the limit.

Women Who Code Mission Statement

Women Who Code is a global nonprofit organization working to support women in being and becoming g leaders and role models in the tech industry.

“I voted for Women Who Code. It is so important to empower women to compete in a male dominated field. It's even more important for our young girls to see more people like them in these fields. They need to see this integration to know they are capable of achieving the same.” – Tori J. from Facebook

Team River Runner Mission Statement

Team River Runner is a national nonprofit organization committed to helping active duty, veteran service members and their families through adaptive kayaking.

“I vote for Team River Runner, because our combat veterans are still fighting an unseen, relentless 'war at home'. TRR teaches them a healthy lifelong activity, draws them out of isolation and places them into a positive, supportive community. Our road to recovery is a river! Thanks for helping to increase our outreach to these deserving men and women.” – Tracy S. from Facebook

Conscious Alliance Mission Statement

Conscious Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to supporting communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment.

“As an educator and graduate student focusing on social justice, all of these are important causes/nonprofits to support! I will say that I chose Conscious Alliance as I am currently living in Colorado, but an Oregonian at heart. Hunger is a real problem across the world - and can often be overlooked when there are other options for us to support. I appreciate that Conscious Alliance not only works with reducing hunger, but also working to spread awareness and provide options to youth to take action through exploring their cultural existence. What a cool way to support such awesome causes, Ninkasi Brewing! I have been a huge fan of the beer since the start, but this just brings you even closer to my heart!” – Cara H. from Facebook
