During the Month of October, $10 of Every Ninkasi Keg Sold in the Greater Spokane Area will Benefit the Spokane Valley Firefighter Benevolence Fund
EUGENE, Ore.—Sept. 33, 2016—Ninkasi Brewing Company has teamed up with Spokane wholesale partner, King Beverage Inc., to offer a month-long give-back program in support of Spokane Valley Firefighter Benevolence Fund, called “Funds for Firefighters.” For every Ninkasi keg sold in the greater Spokane area during the month of October, ten dollars will be donated to support the Fund.
“Ninkasi is excited to partner with King Beverage in an effort to raise funds for the Spokane Valley Firefighter Benevolence Fund,” says Summer Iverson, Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington market manager for Ninkasi. “It is always a treat to get to sell great beer and support a nonprofit that gives so much back to the community.”
“The money donated from Ninkasi will help members of the community who may have lost everything due to a fire or other catastrophic event and may just need a little help getting back on their feet,” explains public affairs and communications representative for the Spokane Valley Firefighters, Scott Tschirgi.
“King Beverage is a family-owned distributor with deep roots in the Spokane Valley; as a local company with many employees and extended families, the ongoing support of this fund is close to our hearts,” says Heather Bender, King Beverage craft brand manager. “Thanks to the wonderful Beer is Love donations program Ninkasi has developed and the incredible customers that we service, we hope to raise awareness and contribution to this fund!”
To take part in the program, beer drinkers are encouraged to order Ninkasi on-tap during the month of October throughout the greater Spokane area. Locations serving Ninkasi can be found by visiting: http://www.ninkasibrewing.com/delicious/beer-finder.html.
