During the Month of September, $20 of Every Ninkasi Keg Sold in Roseburg and Surrounding Areas Goes to Douglas County Professional Firefighters Local 2091 in Support of The Treven Anspach Memorial Fund

EUGENE, Ore.—Aug. 30, 2017—Ninkasi Brewing Company teams up with Oregon wholesale partner, Bigfoot Beverages, to bring back Funds for Firefigthers, a month-long give-back program in support of the Douglas County Professional Firefighters. For every Ninkasi keg sold in Roseburg and surrounding areas during the month of September, twenty dollars will be donated to support the Douglas County Professional Firefighters and The Treven Anspach Memorial Fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

“With the tremendous success of last year’s program, we’re excited to continue to support our loyal Roseburg customers and the work of the Trenven Anspach Memorial Fund,” comments Ryan Deiro, Southern Oregon and Northern California Regional Manager for Ninkasi.

“We are excited to begin another successful month of fundraising for a wonderful cause,” says Tom Spelgatti, public affairs and communications manager for Douglas County Professional Firefighters. “Last year we were able to raise close to $10,000 and are looking forward to topping that amount this year.”

“We’ve set a goal to sell 100 kegs this month in tandem with other fundraising events throughout the community during Funds for Firefighters,” states Don Smith, director of sales and operations for Bigfoot Beverages. “We look forward to partnering with Ninkasi for a second year of Funds for Firefighters.”

A Funds for Firefighters Kick-Off party will take place Thursday, Aug. 31, 6 – 8pm at O’Toole’s Pub (328 SE Jackson St., Roseburg, OR 97470).
